The frenetic pace here at AWP, while exciting, often requires sacrificing more casual aspects of daily life, such as lunch, standing, and the occasional glance out the window. I can deal with the lack of lunches and standing, but with such a great view from our downtown offices, it’s really a shame that we don’t get more chances to appreciate it.

So we decided to do something about it.

Enter the Ithaca Commons Webcam, or CommonsCam. It’s now up and broadcasting out of Ancient Wisdom’s 3rd floor conference room here in downtown Ithaca for all to see.
Now we can finally look outside through the comforts of our web browser, saving us from the pain of unnecessary neck strain and iris-resizing. Who knows what kind of interesting things you’ll see if you check back often?
