For those familiar with the Directory, you will be glad to know that it has reached the 1000 site mark and continues to keep on growing. This means that there are even more local or Ithaca-related sites to search from.

For those of you who have never seen the Directory, be sure to check it out. It is a fantastic community resource. Browse by category, or type your passion or interest in a phrase search and see what comes up! There are more active and welcoming groups of like-minded people in Ithaca than most are aware of. Learn about a restaurant, volunteer organization, performance, service, newsletter, or park that you never even knew existed. Before you know it you may find yourself using the Ithaca Directory as a doorway to vegan potluck meetings discussing your favorite social issue, friendly pickup games at a local college sport club team that you didn’t realize anyone could join, inspiring lectures and lessons, or your new favorite local hangout.

Beyond searching and browsing, you can get even further involved with the Ithaca Directory. Help Ancient Wisdom expand it even more by adding a local website that is not already on there (there is a form right on the site). Any working site about or from the Ithaca area is fair game.
