I lost my mail a few days ago, found this link and followed the instructions. The only deleted files found by Data Rescue in the 'Mail' folder were already mboxes? When I import these into Mail they only contain a single file with no info and a lot of 'code' within them. Is my sent mail lost forever?! Do you need to do this before restarting your machine?
