As you may have noticed, there are some new faces around the office these days. Please meet our new staff!

You may have already met or spoken with Vanessa Wood, as she often answers the phone. Vanessa has been busy creating Flash animations (you can view some on the Ithaca Festival homepage), authoring DVDs, and expanding the Ithaca Directory, which now boasts over 700 local websites!

We have had many amazing people apply to work at AWP lately. Newly aboard (argh, matey!) is Casey Dreier, who moved from California just in time for autumn. His eclectic background ranges from web design to physics! Check out one of his many hobbies/creations: a searchable list of Cornell colloquia. He created it initially so that he would be sure not to miss out on anything too exciting, like “Prospects for Dark-Energy and Inflation Experiments Using Precision Cosmology”. Hey, it’s exciting to some of us (you know who you are)!

The most recent addition to the AWP team is our new production lead, Tyler Finck. Tyler hails from Maine by way of Ohio and is excited about rediscovering Ithaca since his college days here. He infuses Ancient Wisdom with a diverse set of design skills and experience. The music of his band, Jetsetter, is a real treat: check out their website.

The additions to our staff have allowed us to expand our capabilities and broaden our horizons. A big shout out to all of our clients who have helped make Ancient Wisdom what it is today!

A STREAM OF NEW SITES LAUNCHED

With our intrepid Molly Oakley now leading a number of projects, and the newer staff working hard, we have been proud to get a number of new websites up since the last newsletter, with more exciting projects on the way. Check out our website for links to new sites such as Bridges of Mendon, which offers video testimonials for the beautiful residence and health service provider. Also, peruse the impressive artwork on the new site for Maui Murals. We have also worked with the Ithaca Downtown Partnership to give their site a fresh look.

In addition, we are proud to announce the website for Ithaca’s new downtown green living residence, Gateway Commons, as well as the completion of Bart Lube where local commercial customers can order a variety of motor oil products online, for convenient delivery!

WEDDING ALBUM DVDs

We have been busy developing a service which allows wedding parties to create lovely DVD albums out of their favorite wedding photos. If you are interested in having a DVD created for you, contact us for an information packet or to view a demo.
