New website launch: wocan.org
WOCAN – Women Organizing for Change in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management – is a global organization dedicated to promoting gender equality. Globally, women provide a high percentage of support to agriculture and natural resource management and stewardship, but this role can be overlooked or undervalued. WOCAN builds women’s leadership in these fields through training, advocacy, networking, and policy advisement. WOCAN is active in Africa, Asia, North America and Europe and seeks to connect rural efforts in agriculture and NRM to professionals, policymakers and organizations.
Problems solved with new website:
- better presentation of WOCAN’s work and global impact – for prospective customers and donors
- improved member communication through private messaging system and sortable directory
- fully integrated social-media member dashboard, with feeds from Facebook, Twitter, and internal site postings to all members
- modern, updated look and feel with sharp and evocative photography of real members
- full reorganization of content for better visitor experience and deeper content browsing
- responsive layout supporting desktop, tablet and mobile

The site looks awesome.
I’d say there looks like something funny is going on with the twitter icon – not sure if that’s intended or not.

Thanks for the feedback and good catch! I just pushed out an update that corrects that little issue.
